How often should I change my Audi A4's brake pads?

I have recently purchased an Audi A4 and I am wondering how frequently I should get my brake pads changed. I use my car for daily city driving and occasional long distance trips. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Based on your driving habits, it is recommended to get your brake pads changed every 12,000-15,000 miles or every 2 years.

It is always better to err on the side of caution and have your brake pads checked every 6 months. Your driving style and road conditions can also affect the wear on your brake pads.

If you notice any unusual noises or vibrations when applying the brakes, it is important to get them checked immediately. Waiting too long to replace your brake pads can result in damage to your car's rotors.
