How does the Audi e-Tron's one-pedal driving feature work?

I'm considering purchasing an Audi e-Tron and am intrigued by its one-pedal driving feature. Can you explain how this feature works and if it can be customized to my preference?

The one-pedal driving feature in the Audi e-Tron allows you to accelerate and decelerate using just one pedal. This feature works by using regenerative braking, meaning the energy from braking is captured and used to recharge the battery. This keeps the car moving at a consistent speed without the need for constantly switching between the accelerator and brake pedals.

The amount of regenerative braking can be adjusted to suit your preference. You can choose between three different modes - coasting, mild or strong. Coasting essentially turns off regenerative braking, allowing the car to coast freely when you take your foot off the accelerator. Mild and strong modes both apply varying amounts of regenerative braking, with strong providing the most significant deceleration when you take your foot off the accelerator.
