How do you reset the MMI system in an Audi A7?

I accidentally entered the wrong security code for my MMI system and now it is locked. Is there a way to reset it without going to the dealership?

There is a simple and quick fix for this issue. First, turn off the ignition and open the driver's side door. Then, simultaneously press and hold the CAR and MENU buttons on the MMI console for about 10 seconds. The MMI system should reset and prompt you to enter the correct security code.

If the first solution does not work, try disconnecting your car's battery for about 30 minutes. This will reset all systems in your car, including the MMI system. However, keep in mind that this may also reset other personalized settings in your car.
