How do I update my Audi A1's navigation system?

I bought my Audi A1 second-hand and noticed that the navigation system is outdated. How do I update it to the latest version?

You can update your Audi A1's navigation system by inserting a blank SD card into the SD card slot of your vehicle. Then, go to the Audi Connect portal on your computer and download the latest map update. Save the update file to the SD card and insert it into your vehicle's slot. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update process.
