To turn off lane departure assist in your Audi A8, press the car button in the center console to access the car settings menu. From there, select 'Driver Assistance' and then 'Lane Assist'. Finally, toggle the switch to turn off the feature.

If you prefer to keep the lane departure assist feature on but want to adjust its sensitivity, you can do so in the car settings menu under 'Driver Assistance' and then 'Lane Assist'. There, you can customize how early or late the system will warn you when you're drifting out of your lane.

Personally, I would recommend keeping the lane departure assist feature on at all times for added safety. However, if you find it too intrusive, simply turn it off as mentioned before. Just make sure to always stay alert and maintain control of your vehicle.
