How do I turn off the Audi A6 engine without touching the start/stop button?

I often find myself needing to quickly turn off the engine in my Audi A6 without getting out of the car to push the start/stop button. Is there another way to turn off the engine?

To turn off the Audi A6 engine without touching the start/stop button, press and hold the start/stop button for about 3 seconds. This will shut off the engine without turning off the electronics.

If your Audi A6 model has a shift knob, you can also turn off the engine by selecting Park and then pressing and holding the start/stop button for about 3 seconds. This will also turn off the electronics.
