I recently replaced my tires and now my tire pressure monitoring system is not working properly. How can I reset it?
ReplyFirst, make sure all tires are inflated to the recommended tire pressure. Then, locate the TPMS button in your A5 and press and hold it for about 3 seconds. This should reset the system and the warning light should turn off. If it doesn't, you may need to bring your car to a dealership for further inspection.
You can also try driving for a few miles at a steady speed to allow the system to recalibrate itself. If the warning light persists, check the tire pressure on all tires again to make sure they are all at the correct pressure.
If the issue still persists, there may be a problem with one of your TPMS sensors. It's best to have a professional mechanic check it out to determine the root cause of the issue.
