I recently changed the oil on my 2018 Audi A6, but the oil change light on the dashboard is still on. How can I reset it?
ReplyTo reset the oil change light, first insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the accessory position. Then, use the buttons on your steering wheel to navigate to the settings menu. From there, select the service menu and scroll down to the option to reset the oil change light. Follow the prompts to reset it and the light should turn off.
If you have an Audi MMI navigation system, you can reset the oil change light by going to the car status menu and selecting service. Then, navigate to the oil change option and select reset. The system will guide you through the reset process and turn off the light.
If you prefer to reset the oil change light using physical buttons, first turn off the ignition and press and hold the trip odometer reset button. While holding it, turn the ignition to the on position without starting the car. Continue to hold the button until the light flashes and turns off. Release the button and the light should stay off.
