How do I reset the MMI in my Audi A6?

I recently purchased an Audi A6 and the MMI (Multi Media Interface) system has been acting up. It freezes frequently and does not respond to touch inputs. I have tried restarting the car but the issue persists. How can I reset the MMI to fix this problem?
