First, make sure your car is on a level surface and the engine is cold. Open the hood and locate the oil dipstick. Pull it out and wipe it clean. Then reinsert it and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX markers. If it's below the MIN marker, you'll need to add more oil.

If the oil level is below the MIN marker, you'll need to add more oil. Make sure to use the recommended oil for your Audi A1. Slowly pour in small amounts at a time and check the dipstick until it reaches the correct level. Overfilling can also cause damage to your engine, so be careful not to add too much.

Regularly checking and maintaining your oil level is crucial for the health and longevity of your engine. If you're unsure about how to properly check the oil level, it's best to consult a mechanic or refer to your Audi A1's owner's manual for specific instructions.
