How do I properly check the engine oil level in an Audi A1?

I recently bought an Audi A1 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. Can you give me step by step instructions on how to check the engine oil level?

To properly check the engine oil level, first make sure the car is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Then locate the dipstick, pull it out and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick, pull it out again and check the oil level. The oil should be between the two marks on the dipstick. If it is below the minimum mark, you will need to add more oil.
