How do I know when it's time to change my Audi R8's brake pads?

I've noticed some squeaking when braking and I'm not sure if it's time for a replacement or just a small issue. I want to make sure I stay on top of maintenance for my expensive sports car.

The best way to know when it's time to replace your brake pads is by checking the wear indicators on the pad itself. These indicators will make a high-pitched sound when the pad is getting too thin. Also, keep an eye out for any unusual vibrations or a longer-than-usual amount of pressure needed to stop. If you're still unsure, it's always a good idea to have a trusted mechanic take a look.
