How do I know when it's time to change my Audi A1's oil?

I just bought an Audi A1 and I'm not sure when I need to change the oil. Can someone give me some advice on when it's necessary to change it and what type of oil to use?

Congratulations on your new Audi A1, Emily! Generally, you should change your oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. However, if you frequently drive in harsh conditions or with heavy loads, you may need to change it sooner. As for the type of oil, always use the one recommended by Audi for your specific model.

Hi Emily, the best way to know when to change your oil is to check the owner's manual or your car's dashboard display. It will usually alert you when it's time. As for the type of oil, make sure to use one with the correct viscosity for your car's engine.
