How do I fix the squeaking noise coming from my Audi A4's brakes?

My Audi A4 has been making a loud squeaking noise whenever I press on the brakes. It's starting to get really annoying and I'm worried it might be a sign of a bigger problem. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself or should I take it to a mechanic?

First of all, you should check the brake pads. If they are worn out, they can cause a squealing noise. If this is the case, I recommend replacing them as soon as possible before they damage your rotors.

If the brake pads are not the issue, then the squeaking noise could be coming from the brake rotors. They may need to be resurfaced or replaced. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic to have them inspect the rotors and determine the best course of action.
