How do I disable the parking assist function in the Audi A8?

I find the parking assist function in my Audi A8 to be too sensitive and would like to disable it. What's the best way to do so?

To disable the parking assist function in your Audi A8, go to the settings menu in your dashboard display and select 'Assistance Systems'. From there, you can select 'Parking Systems' and then choose 'Parking Assist Off'. This will disable the feature and you will no longer receive any parking aid.

If you prefer to have more control over your parking, you can turn off the parking assist function by pressing the button located on the center console. Just press and hold the button until you see the parking assist icon disappear from your dashboard display.

Another option is to simply turn off the parking assist feature using the MMI control knob. Just navigate to the parking assist icon on the display and press the control knob to switch it off.
