How do I check the voltage of my Audi A2's battery?

I recently had some issues starting my Audi A2 and I suspect it may be due to a low battery. How can I check the voltage of my battery to determine if that is the problem?

To check the voltage of your Audi A2's battery, you will need a digital multimeter. Set it to read DC voltage and place the positive (red) lead on the positive terminal of the battery and the negative (black) lead on the negative terminal. The reading should be between 12.4-12.7 volts for a fully charged battery.

To ensure accurate results, make sure your car has not been used for at least an hour before checking the battery voltage. This allows the surface charge to dissipate and provides a more accurate reading.
