How do I check the transmission fluid level in my Audi A4?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4 is shifting gears oddly and I want to make sure the transmission fluid is at the correct level. Can you explain how to do this?

First, park your Audi A4 on a flat surface and let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up the transmission fluid. Then, locate the transmission dipstick near the back of the engine. Pull it out, wipe it clean, and reinsert it. Pull the dipstick out again and check the level of the fluid against the markings on the dipstick. If it is below the recommended level, add more fluid. Be careful not to overfill.
