How do I check the fluid levels on my Audi A1?

I just bought a used Audi A1 and I want to make sure all the fluid levels are optimal. How do I check them and what levels should I be looking for?

To check the fluid levels on your Audi A1, you will first need to locate the dipstick for each respective fluid. The engine oil dipstick is usually marked with a yellow handle and is located near the front of the engine. The transmission fluid dipstick is usually marked with a red handle and is located near the firewall. Next, make sure your car is on a level surface and the engine is turned off. Use a clean rag to wipe the dipstick clean and then reinsert it into the designated tube. Remove the dipstick again and check the markings to determine the level of fluid. If the fluid levels are low, you may need to add more fluid. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct type and amount of fluid to use.
