How do I check the engine oil level on an Audi 80?

I'm new to car maintenance and want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Can someone please explain the steps to check the engine oil level on my Audi 80?

To check the engine oil level on an Audi 80, start by turning off the engine and letting it cool down. Open the hood and locate the dipstick, which is usually yellow or orange. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a cloth. Then, reinsert the dipstick all the way back in and pull it out again to see the oil level, which should be between the two markings. If the level is low, add more oil as needed.
