How do I change the oil in my Audi A4?

I recently purchased a used 2015 Audi A4 and I'm not sure how to change the oil. Can I do it myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic? What type of oil should I use and how often should I change it?

Changing the oil on your Audi A4 is a fairly simple process that you can do yourself. First, make sure the car is on a level surface and the engine is cold. Then, locate the oil filter and drain plug under the car. Use a wrench to remove the drain plug and let the oil drain completely. Next, replace the drain plug and remove the old oil filter. Replace it with a new one and add 5 quarts of synthetic oil. Check the oil level with the dipstick and top off as needed. As for how often to change the oil, it's recommended to do so every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first.

I would highly recommend taking your Audi to a mechanic for an oil change. They have the expertise and equipment to ensure the job is done correctly. They can also check for any other potential issues with your car. When it comes to oil type, be sure to use synthetic oil specifically designed for German cars. Finally, follow the manufacturer's recommended schedule for oil changes, which is typically every 10,000 miles.
