Hi John, changing the front brake pads on your Audi A5 is actually quite simple. First, make sure you have the proper tools and replacement pads. Then, loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels and jack up the car. Remove the wheels and locate the caliper bolts behind the brake rotor. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts and then carefully slide out the old brake pads. Clean the caliper and rotor with brake cleaner and then insert the new pads.
