Changing the engine oil on your Audi A6 is a simple task that you can do yourself. First, locate the oil filter under the hood. It is usually a cylindrical shaped object with a cap on top. Unscrew the cap and replace the old filter with a new one. Next, locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine. Use a wrench to loosen and then remove the plug to drain the old oil into a container. Once the oil has fully drained, replace the drain plug and refill the engine with new oil.

It is recommended to change your Audi A6's engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. This will ensure that your engine remains in good condition and prolong its lifespan. You can also refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions on oil change intervals for your vehicle model.
