How do I activate the Audi A7's voice assistant?

I just bought a new Audi A7 and I can't figure out how to activate the voice assistant. Can someone help me with this?

To activate the voice assistant in the Audi A7, press and hold the button on the steering wheel with the microphone icon. Speak clearly and audibly to give commands.
