How can I reset the oil life indicator on my Audi A5?

My Audi A5's oil life indicator is showing that I need to change the oil, but I just changed it a few weeks ago. How can I reset the indicator so it accurately reflects the new oil change?

To reset the oil life indicator on your Audi A5, start by turning on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, use the button on the end of the windshield wiper lever to enter the car's onboard computer menu. Select the 'Car' menu and then 'Service & reset.' From there, you can reset the oil life indicator and any other service reminders.

I have found that disconnecting the car's battery for a few minutes can also reset the oil life indicator. However, this method may also reset other settings on your car, so be sure to check your owner's manual for instructions specific to your Audi A5.
