How can I reset the key fob for my Audi A4?

I recently purchased a used Audi A4 and I am having trouble with the key fob. It doesn't seem to be working properly and I can't unlock or start the car. Is there a way to reset the key fob?

In order to reset the key fob for your Audi A4, you will need to first remove the emergency key from the fob. Then, press and hold the unlock button while simultaneously pressing the lock button three times. Finally, release the unlock button and the key fob should be reset.
