I recently purchased an Audi A7 and am having trouble connecting my phone to the car's Bluetooth. I have tried following the instructions in the manual, but it's not working. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
ReplyFirstly, make sure that your phone's Bluetooth is turned on and visible to other devices. Then, go to your car's settings and enable Bluetooth. Once your phone is detected, select it and follow the instructions to pair it with your car. If this still doesn't work, try restarting both your phone and car.
I had the same problem and found that resetting the infotainment system in the car did the trick. To do this, go to Settings > System > Factory Settings > Reset MMI. Note that this will reset all settings and data in the infotainment system, so make sure to back up any important information before doing this.
Ensure that your phone and car are compatible with each other's Bluetooth technology. Check your phone's manual or do some research online to see if there are any known compatibility issues. If so, you may need to use a different phone or try connecting with an auxiliary cable.
