How can I activate the Audi Adaptive Cruise Control in my A8?

I recently purchased an Audi A8 and am having trouble activating the Adaptive Cruise Control on the highway. I've followed the instructions in the manual, but it still doesn't seem to be working. Can someone provide a step-by-step guide on how to activate it properly?

To activate the Audi Adaptive Cruise Control in your A8, first make sure your vehicle is in drive mode and at a speed of at least 20 mph. Then, press the button on the left side of the steering wheel labeled 'ACC'. Make sure the 'ACC' indicator on your dashboard is lit up and you should now be able to set your desired following distance using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel.

Having trouble activating your ACC could be caused by a faulty sensor or a software issue. I recommend taking your A8 to a certified Audi dealership to have it checked and potentially updated.
