Do I need to change the timing belt on my Audi A4?

I recently bought a used Audi A4 and was wondering if I need to change the timing belt. The car has around 80,000 miles on it and I'm not sure if the previous owner has already changed it. Can someone advise me on what to do?

Yes, it is recommended to change the timing belt on your Audi A4 around every 70,000-80,000 miles. This will prevent it from snapping and causing major engine damage.

I got mine changed at around 90,000 miles and my mechanic said it was still in good condition. I'd suggest getting it inspected and then making a decision.
