What are the most common Audi transmission problems and how can they be resolved?

I have a 2009 Audi A4 with a CVT transmission and it has been experiencing issues lately. It seems like I am not alone, as I've heard other Audi owners talking about transmission problems as well. Can someone provide more information about these issues and any potential solutions?

One of the most common transmission problems in Audis is the failure of the Mechatronic Unit. This can lead to shifting issues and even complete transmission failure. It is recommended to replace the Mechatronic Unit with an updated version.
